Following pickup from your centrally located hotel, join your guide for a tour of Hue highlights, including the UNESCO-listed Imperial City. Start with a short boat cruise on the Perfume River, which takes you to the legendary Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda), one of the oldest architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. The landmark is situated on the northern banks of the river and its intricate features have developed since its early construction in 1601.
The tombs of the emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh are located on the southern banks. Tu Duc’s tomb is one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest with nearly 50 constructions built on terraces of various levels. The construction of Khai Dinh’s tomb combines both Vietnamese and Western architectural concepts with 127 steps leading to the hill site.
Afterward, we are keep going to visit local handicraft villages such as non la (conical hats village) and incense making village. Your lunch will be served in the local restaurant
After a visit around, continue to visit the Imperial Royal Hue & to Dong Ba Market in Old Hue, located near the point where the Dong Ba Canal joins the Perfume River close to the eastern corner of the Citadel. The market maintains its ancient character and makes an unforgettable impression for visitors seeking Vietnamese food or culture. In the late afternoon, transfer back to your hotel after a day exploring the royal kingdom of Hue.
