Vietnam Airlines (VNA) is launching its new direct route connecting Amsterdam and Hanoi from June 16, 2026. This expansion marks the airlines’ 12th direct route to Vietnam from Europe. In December 2025, VNA also launched direct flights between Copenhagen and Ho Chi Minh City making it the very first route linking Southeast Asia and Northern Europe. The table below lists all direct flights between Vietnam and Europe as of summer 2026.

In addition to the new and existing routes from/to Europe, VNA also operates direct flights from San Francisco (SFO) to SGN, significantly reducing the number of connecting flights between North America and Vietnam.
