What could be better than a trip that lasts for nearly 2 weeks for you and your family to explore the best sites of Viet Nam? You will be visiting places such as Ha Noi – the capital, Ha Long – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature listed by UNESCO, Hoi An – a famous small ancient town in the middle of the country, and Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon), the biggest city of Viet Nam. You will then have short guided tours to the main tourist attractions in each city or free time to explore these places with your family in your own way. There are also a biking trip, a short cruise, and even a cooking class included in the tour’s program.

Day 1: Arrival at Noi Bai Airport

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport.
Then transfer with guide to hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 2: Ha Noi

Take a city tour in the morning to visit Ho Chi Minh’ Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Literature Temple. In the afternoon take a biking trip to Bat Trang.

Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay

Private transfer with no guide from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay. Check-in your boat. Lunch, dinner included.

Day 4: Ha Long - Ha Noi

Galaxy cruise in the morning. At 12.00 check out, a private driver picks you up (no guide) and transfer back to Ha Noi. Check in hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 5: Ha Noi - Dong Hoi

Transfer to Ha Noi airport (no guide) for flight to Dong Hoi. A guide will pick you up & transfers to check-in at your hotel to put luggage and have light breakfast (included).  Your tour starts with a boat trip to Phong Nha – Ke Bang (Tien Son & Phong Nha) cave. Biking back to Hotel (30′) and relax. Lunch (included) at Son Doong Restaurant. Overnight in Phong Nha.

Day 6: Dong Hoi

Dong Hoi – surroundings  (B, L) –  Visit Tam Co (Eight Ladies) temple, botanical gardens.  Lunch (included) in Dark Cave restaurant. Continue to Dark Cave (by kayak/ziplines) in the afternoon. Overnight in Phong Nha.

Day 7: Dong Hoi - Hue

Dong Hoi – Hue by car (B) – After breakfast, check out and transfer to Hue city. On the way, we will stop to visit Vinh Moc DMZ and Hien Luong bridge. Overnight in Hue city.

Day 8: Hue - Hoi An

Morning tour Hue: Boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc tomb and Citadel. In the afternoon, transfer with a guide to Hai Van Pass and Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An

Half day biking tour in Hoi An around Tra Que village for cooking class. In the afternoon, free at leisure.
Program:
8:00 local guide picks up at the hotel’s lobby. Take a ride by bike to the downtown, stop by Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients which will be used in the cooking lesson later, so make sure your camera is handy.
10:00 bike to Tra Que vegetable village. Welcome drink for relaxation and walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work in their fields using old traditional methods without any machines which have been used for hundreds of year. 11:00 Work together with the chef. Learn the traditional way of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked.

Day 10: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City

A car picks you up & transfers to Da Nang airport for flight to Sai Gon. Upon your arrival at Sai Gon airport, a guide picks you up for Cu Chi excursion. In the afternoon, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre

Full day tour to Ben Tre. A guide picks you up by car, then transfers to Ben Tre. Take a boat trip to cruise along the Ham Luong river (a branch of the Mekong) and stop off at various local workplaces for your experience of the local economy, including a brickmaker where bricks are still painstakingly made by hand; a coconut processing workshop where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut turned into food and other products; a mat weaving house, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom – you can even have a go at weaving yourself!
The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life, before cycle into the forest where you will find fruit orchards before stop at a riverside restaurant for a delicious lunch featuring local specialties such as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp with some cold drinks or beers.
It’s time to board a sampan for a relaxing trip along narrow canals. Take a boat back to Pier, then you will be transferred back to Sai Gon.

Day 12: Depart Ho Chi Minh City

Car with no guide picks you up & transfers to Sai Gon airport for flight back home.
