The Northen area is the most aged region of Viet Nam where the Vietnamese culture originated over 2,000 years ago. It is famous for its rippling mountains, cascading rice terraces, and karst topography. Our carefully designed trip reveals the rural area of Viet Nam, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Day 1: Ha Noi - Overnight Train To Sapa
19.30pm – Meet us at your hotel and transfer to the railway station for an overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train in a four-bed sleeping cabin.
Day 2: Sapa - Trekking - Lao Chau - Ta Van Village (B, L)
You will arrive at Lao Cai Station in the early morning, then be welcomed by tour guide and transferred 40km to Sa Pa town. After breakfast at a local restaurant, we take bicycle down to Ta Phin Village in 20km. This place is home of H’Mong & Dzay Ethnic minorities. Have a picnic lunch in a local coffee shop then return to Sa Pa town in the afternoon. Enjoy your time with local in love market near the Church in Sa Pa center and colorful clothes of ethnic people. Overnight in Sa Pa.
Day 3: Sapa - Lao Chau (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we start biking to “Heaven Gate” – considered the highest mountain in Northern Viet Nam. On this route, We get through Hoang Lien Son range and have a great chance for what we are looking for with large sky, cloud and you. We stop in Than Uyen for a short break and a local lunch. After lunch, we continue by car to Lai Chau for overnight.
Day 4: Lao Chau - Muong Lay (B, L)
We start the morning by biking around this Lai Chau town, a small town in the mountainous area of Northern Viet Nam. Then, we take about 10km for biking to up and downhill.
Keep going to Muong Lay in the afternoon in a long bike trip with magnificent views. You will get to the hotel after a total 105 km cycling. Overnight in Muong Lay.
Day 5: Muong Lay - Dien Bien Phu (B, L)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will ride along the Na River through a lush, undulating landscape of ferns, bananas, and bamboo to the city of Dien Bien Phu. This historical town is well-known for the stunning Vietnamese victory over the occupying French Forces. Overnight in Dien Bien Phu.
Day 6: Dien Bien Phu - Ha Noi (B, L)
We spend this day to relax and visit the most famous historical parts of Dien Bien Phu including the old Muong Thanh bridge, Dien Bien Phu Museum, the bunker headquarters of French commander, Colonel Christian de Casties. Visit A1 hill-where bitter fighting used to take place. In the afternoon, check out the hotel and transfer back to Ha Noi by car.
