Day 1: Ha Noi (D)
CHÀO MU’NG! Welcome to and Hanoi!
Today begins your discovery of Vietnam as you explore the vibrant culture and history of Hanoi.
You are met on arrival at the Hanoi airport, and driven to hotel. Enjoy a walking tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, including 1 hour by cyclo. Hanoi Old quarter is the oldest continuously developed area of Vietnam highlighting more than 1000 years of history. Explore the network of narrow alleyways known as ‘The 36 Streets.” This is a wonderful place to watch the local life, and peruse items from fabrics to crafts to exotic medicines. Each street was named to reflect the specialized trade of the merchants who had shops there – such as silk traders, jewelry, etc. Dinner at local restaurant
Day 2: Ha Noi (B,L)
Blending the modern with the mystery and charm of past centuries, Hanoi offers an air of elegance and harmony with nature. This morning’s sightseeing begins with a visit to the Van Mieu or Temple of Literature. The temple dates back to 1070, and is dedicated to the cult of Confucius. Note the peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways; this is one of the best examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, continue to the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, containing a museum and Ho Chi Minh’s final resting place. See the Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the simple two-room dwelling where he lived from 1958 until his final days in 1969. Nearby, sitting in a lotus pond, view the miniature One Pillar Pagoda, or Chua Mot Cot. Made out of a single large tree trunk, it was originally constructed in 1040, and then rebuilt after destroyed by the French in 1954.

Day 3: Ha Noi to Mai Chau (B,L)
Today we drive you to a place called Mai Chau, where you will discover more about those minority communities that are the back bone to some wonderful of traditions.
Once again this is taking you into the deeper more authentic regions of Vietnam steeped in old world history and customs that are still being carried out today.
Take an easy trek or a leisurely bike ride through the small villages. Visit the White Thai minority village of Pom Coung to see daily activities of these Thai ethnic people. Learn about their culture, history, traditional dance, song and beautiful embroidery art. Visit their traditional homes – built on stilts, with palm-leaf roofs and bamboo floors. The windows are large and colorfully decorated, and each house has a pond to breed own fish.
Enjoy a Dinner, Dance and music show by the (Thai ethnic people).

Day 4: Mai Chau - Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B,L,D)
As you become mesmerized by the expansiveness of this country we now drive from Mai Chau to Ha Long Bay, where you will see and experience the beauty of this magical part of Vietnam.
Ha Long Bay is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, a 580 sq. mile area of picturesque islands shrouded in mist, floating villages and pearl fisheries. Discover the unique beauty of Ha Long Bay in a very unique way.

Today you disembark and are transferred to the airport for your noon flight to Danang, then on to Hoi An and your luxury accommodation at the Nam Hai Resort.

Back to hotel for relax. Dinner at hotel has been arranged or if you would like we can arrange for you to enjoy one of the many shows in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An (B)
A full day of relaxation in Hoi An. Take in the shopping, tailoring and local markets to get a real feel for the charm of this very old town and its people.
Day 9: Transfer to airport (B)
Transfer to airport for your flight home from Danang International Airport.
