Why June to August is a favourable time to travel in Vietnam.

Vietnam is blessed with idyllic locations in both the north and the south to suit every kind of traveller wanting a break during the European summer.

The northern part lies under the sub-tropical region, therefore June – August is generally hot and humid making it an ideal time to explore the water ways in the north, namely Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Mai Chau, Be Be lake and Phong Nha.

These areas are unique in that they offer stark beauty as well as massive caves to explore. It is easy to find yourself kayaking alongside limestone cliffs as they sit jutting out of the water, only to find yourself in yet another cave.

The central and southern parts of Vietnam are deemed “hot” most of the year.

However, from the central region down to the south, there is a bevy of places to snorkel, go paragliding, surf, swim, and lie by the beach.

Literally starting in Central Vietnam, you can begin your summer break in Danang, where you can surf and explore My Khe Beach · Non Nuoc Beach · Bac My An Beach · Thanh Binh Beach · Lang Co Beach · Xuan Thieu Beach · Son Tra Peninsula.  Hoi An also features a very relaxed and cosy beach vibe at An Bang, where long cool drinks can be combined with affordable water sports only walking distance from your hotel or favourable lunchtime restaurant or bar.

Moving further long the stretch of coastline, which in total is 3,200km, you have the access to some other divine locations such as Nha Trang, Con Dao islands and Phu Quoc Island.

Each one of these locations offers a plethora of sea life, pristine beaches, luxury and budget accommodation and some of the best seafood you will ever taste.
